 Brunello di Montalcino Reserva DOCG from the Tuscan region of Italy made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. The name Brunello di Montalcino actually refers to one of six wine districts in Tuscany.   Italy's DOCG regulations require that Brunello di Montalcino be made solely from the Sangiovese grape and must be aged a minimum of five years.  Wine Spectator magazine and others frequently give most Brunello's an overall rating of 90 and above. Our Brunello di Montalcino comes from the Abbadia Ardenga vineyard by exclusive arrangement.

The wine is dark, ruby red tending to a garnet color with aging.  The aroma has an ample and intense scent of red fruits, forest fruits and light spicy balsamic.  The taste is full-bodied, warm, harmonic, elegant and persistent.  Longer aging makes the wine complex and enveloping.
