It all began in 1882 with the construction of the antique cellar, which has now been restored to its former splendor and currently used as the location of the shop, the modern tasting room with adjoining kitchen, and also remains as the fascinating underground cellar. The turnaround began in 1966 when young wine maker Antonio Coppi began working in the cellar he later purchased in 1979, which became his life's mission. His passion has been transmitted to his children Lisia, Miriam, and Doni. Today Coppi wines are known throughout the world.
