Moscone

In the highest, best exposed part, the Nebbiolo vine reaches peaks of unparalleled intensity and elegance. The marly soils meet a calcareous matrix which gives our wine an unexpected minerality. It is here that we harvest the grapes for our Barolo Bussia, vinified following the teachings of tradition.

Beyond the stream at the bottom of the valley, where the slope once again houses the vineyards, I chose to plant about one and a half hectares of chardonnay. A "lucid madness" guided by the opportunity to exploit the local calcareous soils to create a structured white, of incredible freshness: our luminous "white pearl" in red territory. A wine that never ceases to amaze us with its incomparable finesse.

My name is Sara Moscone and, together with my cousin Marco , I cultivate the family vineyards in Monforte d'Alba . Three generations of winemakers and now a new story, free from conditions and influences.
